Frequently asked questions
What sizes does the ICO file include?
Each .ico packs six sizes — 16, 32, 48, 64, 128 and 256 pixels — so the right one is available wherever the icon is used, from a browser tab to a desktop shortcut.
What happens if my image isn't square?
It's automatically center-cropped to the largest square that fits, then scaled to each icon size. For control over exactly what gets cropped, use the Favicon Generator instead.
Can I convert several images at once?
Yes — drop in multiple files and each converts independently. Download them one at a time or all together.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
